Few people have shaped modern Australian wine quite like Brian Croser. If you've ever fallen for a great cool-climate Chardonnay, you may well have him to thank. Today, that legacy is carried on through Lucy Willson and Xavier Bizot, the husband-and-wife team behind Tapanappa, Daosa and Terre à Terre—three labels producing some of the most exciting wines in the country.

At Tapanappa, they craft some of Australia's most revered Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. Daosa has become one of the country's leading sparkling wine producers. Terre à Terre continues to champion the Limestone Coast through elegant, site-driven wines.

Instead of doubling down, Brad Hickey looked to the sun-drenched vineyards of southern Italy for inspiration. Out went the norm, in came Nero d'Avola, Zibibbo and clay amphora. Allocation Alert ➺ Henschke

Collectors descend on these like seagulls on hot chips. They’ve just flown in from South Australia's Eden Valley—though these barely touch down before they disappear again... This latest allocation features two of Australia's most coveted single-vineyard Shiraz wines: Hill of Grace and Mount Edelstone.
