📸 Salt Gang film gang!

I’ve (Lucy, hi!) been on a lil break from work recently as tbh I was getting a bit fried.

Having a small biz is one of the BEST jobs in the world and it can be a lot on a mind that is naturally busy anyway. It’s easy to get bogged down in stress and self expectation, especially (ironically) when things are going well.

So it was a delight come to Gilles at the Grounds , just to say hi and run around with my camera (second roll of film ever so don’t judge em too harsh!!). I had meant to hit up Adelaide Farmers Market too but literally lost track of time just chatting for hours.

Thanks to all our beautiful custies at Gilles and to Misty's Salted Caramel SEÑOR MEXICAN The Larder - Elevated Condiments and our darling neighbours Masa Bakery for the comforting small biz chats— I’m so thankful for our lil community and knowing that everyone feels the pressure sometimes!!

It’s cold, it’s wet!! Snuggle up with a hot Salt Gang catchup.

❤️‍🔥we had a huge Brand South Australia week with ! When we moved to Adelaide one of the best surprises was how goddamn good the food community is here, and we’re so proud to be part of it. Thanks to everyone who came hungry x

🥛milk kefir grains going STRONG from The CultureHood at Adelaide Farmers Market, so happy to have these in the house!! I’ve been talking and singing to them as instructed.

🍨 probably the best ice cream in the world from Sugar Man Gelato. They never fkn miss. Unlike me, who got this primarily to console myself after my first ever film roll came back mostly blank….see last pic :(((

Lil Salt Gang catchup! We’ve been occasionally chilling, always thrilling, and kinda working bloooody hard.

🚨Hot Honey Pickled Jalapeños! A little crunchy small batch treat for you guys, available at markets until sold out (this batch anyway 😉)

🍫 we’ve found out how to always keep choccy in the house without eating it!! Just make sure the chocolate you get is ABSOLUTELY GROSSSSSSS. Serves us right for straying from Whittaker's Chocolate Lovers coconut slabs.

🙏🏻truly the best ramen we’ve had in Adelaide, the chicken paitan at Toriok healed wounds we didn’t know we had. I got the classic and Thomas got the spicy, both ridiculously good.

🥬 Stuck for winter veg? This is our current fave. Chunky fennel splashed in our Italo Chilli Oil, whack under a hot grill until tender. SO good.

🚐 many crisps and tastes sleeping soundly in their pallets, destined for our new SA distributors, Food Nation and your kitchens!

💅distinguished Glenelg local, always good to see.
