It was a labour of love, or maybe just boredom! When you’re under mandatory isolation and you can’t just zip to the shops for some dumpling wrappers, the next best option is to learn to make your own.

Oh boy, I have beetroot coming out of my ears from my veggie patch, so today I made some juicy, succulent pork belly with spiced beetroot and fennel relish. I would love your ideas on what to do with the rest of them, although I promise no more beetroot recipes for a while 😉

I harvested these vibrant, fresh beetroot from my veggie patch and made some tasty beetroot dip with some of them. I've topped the dip with some toasted hazelnuts and Danish fetta. Click on the link for the recipe. Enjoy.

I don't know about elsewhere, but spring is getting off to a very slow start in Adelaide....to me spring is the start of salad season! Bring it on I say! Here's my recipe for Vietnamese inspired pork skewers with a zesty whole grain salad. I've topped it with some creamy labneh. Super healthy and delicious.
