πŸŽ“ KIT Alumni of the Month – Tien Kiritobwa πŸ’‘

Meet Tien Kiritobwa, a proud KIT graduate who’s now making a real impact in the community as a Senior Operator in Desalination with the Public Utilities Board, in partnership with Osmoflo.

Tien completed her Certificate II in Electrical Technology and Certificate III in Electrical Engineering at KIT, graduating in 2021. She describes her journey at KIT as 'enjoyable and challenging,' especially working with new tools and forming lasting friendships that pushed her to work and study harder.

Now a leader in her field, Tien encourages our current students to 'take the opportunity with both hands. You are lucky to be a KIT student β€” you now have a master key that, if you put the effort in, will open work opportunities within Kiribati and beyond.'

🌟 Her message to all:
'Don’t let the challenges and problems win. Always believe in yourself β€” you can be the leader who helps others and your community.'

From student to professional, Tien's story is a reminder that hard work, teamwork, and self-belief can unlock great success.

πŸ‘ Congratulations, Tien β€” you inspire us all!
