What a difference 10 Days can make 🙂
Bit of an update on how things are progressing.
I have over come my initial lung infection, cleared a heap of scans, have been able to cease IV antifungal/antibiotics. The blasts (cancer cells) are barely detected in my bloodstream which means the immunotherapy is working well to slow their production.
My breathing is back so I can walk freely around, including to get coffee.
In the next few days my team of doctors will finalise and commence my treatment plan, to tackle the root cause. Feeling grateful for everyone who has visited, called or texted. The amount of support has been incredible.
Imogen Meri has been doing an immense amount of admin, planning and organising things for my stay at FMC. All while having to adjust to me not being around and having Awen! So grateful for Her
