REMINDER | We are back open tomorrow.

Well, you’ve all had to go without your favourite butcher for a few days now… which means we can only assume you’ve been surviving on vegetables.

We imagine there are some very sad dinner plates out there.

But the good news is… we’ve restocked!

The flood may have knocked us around, but we’re back; the shelves are filling up, and it’s officially time for you all to stop pretending you enjoy being vegetarians.

UPDATE | WE'LL BE OPEN TOMORROW = THURSDAY 8am

It’s been one hell of a week, and there have been moments where we’ve stood there wondering, “Right… where do we even start?”
But here’s the thing about a small local business: you don’t have the luxury of sitting around feeling sorry for yourself for too long.

So today, we are rolling up our sleeves, sorting, prepping and getting everything ready because tomorrow we’re opening the doors again.

As you have gathered, we’re a resilient bunch. Josh has finished the mop-up and is complaining about his blisters. Now we are restocking and just getting on with it.

But we also know we cannot do this alone.
We need you, our community.

If you’d like to show your support, there are a few simple ways you can help:

UPDATE

Thank you for bearing with us. We are absolutely heartbroken to let you know that we still won’t be able to reopen for another day or so.

The clean-up is nearly finished, but there is still so much to do. Our shelves need to be restocked, fridges refilled, and, after losing so much of our stock in the flood earlier this week, there’s a long road ahead to get everything back to where it was.

We won't sugarcoat it - it is going to be a hard slog.

But we also know something pretty special about our community: you have our backs. And right now, we need a little bit of that love more than ever.

When we reopen, please come in. Buy a few snags. Grab your steaks. Fill your freezer. Tell your neighbours. Share this post. Send a friend our way.

Every purchase, every share and every bit of support will help us get back on our feet.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has checked in, offered a hand, sent a message or simply thought of us this week.

We’re still here. We’re cleaning up. We’re rebuilding. And with our community behind us, we’ll get there. ❤️
