One of our customers recently visited Cambodia with Cows for Cambodia, helping deliver rice and other food to local communities. Before she left, we were pleased to donate some bags of Ditters nuts for her to take along and share.

It was wonderful to receive these photos and see our nuts being handed directly to people in the communities she is visiting. Our contribution is only a small part of a much bigger effort, but we’re glad we could add something extra to what was being shared.

We’re joining Rundle Mall’s Shopping Weekend on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 October with ‘A Taste of Ditters’.

Pop into our Adelaide Arcade shop and discover a few Ditters favourites, with complimentary tastings available while they last. We’re keeping some of the details under wraps for now, so you’ll have to come in and see what’s on the tasting table.

One of our regular customers has just travelled to London to meet with Princess Anne’s team, taking a box of Ditters Mixed Glacé Fruit with him as a gift for Her Royal Highness.

There’s a lovely piece of Ditters history behind his choice. After the War, Ditters developed an export line of glacé fruit that Adelaide families could send to relatives in Britain. The parcels became so well known that, during a visit to the Ditters factory in 1945, the Duchess of Gloucester ordered three to be sent to HRH Princess Margaret, care of Buckingham Palace.

More than 80 years later, another parcel of Ditters glacé fruit is making its way from Adelaide to royal circles. We can’t wait to hear what she thinks.
