Mushroom Season launch with one of our favourites Chef's Callum Hann tomorrow at the Market! 😍 Callum will be doing a live cooking demonstration from 12pm proudly presented by Pick a Local, Pick SA & the Mushroom growers association. Why not come see what all the fuss is about & you might even be lucky enough to sample his creation! Yummy!!

The Australian Truffle season officially kicked off late today with the arrival of our 1st Truffles for the season! While still early season these beauties are ready to go & now & will ripen beautifully over the next few weeks as the season progresses. For all of you that have been hanging out for these, the time is now!

They're back! Our "Baby" Porcini are back in store this week. After a coiple of very lean (& depressing seasons 😢) these beauties are back in all their massive glory. Holding these is almost a workout weighing in at between 1-2kg they are a sight to behold! 😍 Drop past & have a look or even take one home today. Great smaller Porcini coming through all week if our Babies are a tad overwhelming! 😅

Plenty of lovely new season Pine Mushrooms in store today & for the weekend. Beautiful & rich with almost a buttery taste & texture. We look forward to these every year & are only available for a few weeks even in a good season.
Perfect cooked on their own, in pasta sauces & risottos, pretty much any way you use regular mushroom (except for raw, just don't taste good).
Come in, have a look & take some home today!

What an amazing site! (The mushrooms, not me! 😅😂) Fresh Porcini fresh from the Adelaide Hills. After last year's horror drought decimated non season these are a sight for sore eyes! Recent rain has brought on a small flush ready for our weekend trade. Currently we're not sure if the season has officially kicked off (still very dry out there) we are excited to have these & some lovely smaller ones to wet the appetite for things we hope to come...

Does it get any better than this?!
Fresh picked in the morning & in store by lunchtime. We are often asked why our mushrooms are,so good. This is one of the reasons why. Not dropped to a distributor then next day to a distribution centre. The day after arriving in a store & then used when the existing stock runs out. In our stall, ready to sell within hours, not days of being picked! Freshness & quality mater (& makes all the difference!) 😍
