You don’t have to go far to meet these national award winners. You’ll find Dan and Rachel from Little Tin Co right here at our market, currently popping up at Goodwood Primary School and joining us when we return home to the Adelaide Showground.

That’s one of the lovely things about shopping at the market. You can chat with the people behind the produce, have a taste and hear their story.

A big congratulations to Little Tin Co. on winning the Business Award, Small, at the 2026 National Seafood Industry Awards, recognising their work bringing premium, sustainably sourced local seafood to the humble tin.

We’re proud to have them as part of our market community. Stop by, try something delicious and congratulate them in person!

Find us at Goodwood Primary School & Preschool on Sundays until 20 September, before we return to the Adelaide Showground on Sunday 27 September.

LOBO CIDER WEEK

There’s a lot more behind a bottle of LOBO than apples and cider.

LOBO Cider began in 2007 with a few experiments using leftover apples from Michael Stafford’s family orchard at Lenswood. Different varieties were put to the test before discovering that a blend based around Pink Lady apples delivered the flavour and natural balance they were looking for.

Michael is a fifth generation apple grower, growing apples and pears on the family farm in the Adelaide Hills.

Then there’s Warwick Billings, the cider maker and familiar face you’ll see at the Market each time LOBO visits. Warwick grew up in Somerset, England, and one of his earliest cider memories is picking apples for the local cider maker when he was just eight years old.

Together they make LOBO’s cloudy, unfiltered and undiluted cider using locally grown Adelaide Hills apples. Warwick also has a passion for fermenting and distilling seasonal produce, so there’s much more to discover than cider.

Spirits, gin, liqueurs and their award winning Lobodos Apple Brandy are all part of the LOBO range.

This Sunday they’re joining us at our Goodwood Pop Up Market, and if you’re still looking for a last minute gift for Dad, something from LOBO might just hit the spot.

Happy Spring!

We know how important pollinators are to our farmers and the food we bring home from the market. So this spring, we’re proud to be supporting the Wheen Bee Foundation’s 2026 Pollinator Photography Competition as sponsors of the People’s Choice prize.

The competition is now open, encouraging us all to take a closer look at these wonderful little creatures and the part they play in our food system.

With spring here, there should be plenty of opportunities to photograph pollinators visiting your garden. You could even bring your camera to our Goodwood Primary School Pop Up Market this Sunday and see what’s buzzing around the grounds while you’re doing your weekly shop.

Need a little inspiration? Have a look through these winning photographs, including Jennifer Leayr’s Swordgrass Brown butterfly, the 2025 People’s Choice winner.

There’s also a new video category this year, so you can capture pollinators in action! Entries close on 25 October.

Find out more and enter the competition. https://www.wheenbeefoundation.org.au/our-work/events/pollinator-photography-competition/

We Love The Ukes

The Ukes have been performing at the Market for quite a while now, and every time they join us, they never disappoint.

This lively group of ukulele enthusiasts from Glenelg has built up quite a following at the Market, especially among our younger visitors. As soon as the music starts, it’s never long before the kids are up dancing and singing along.

And we have a special treat for you! The Ukes will be performing at Goodwood Primary School twice during our Pop Up Market Series, this Sunday 6 September for Father’s Day and again on Sunday 13 September.

Find them near the playground, enjoy their cheerful tunes and soak up all the fun they bring to a Sunday morning.

After that, you’ll see them back home at the Adelaide Showground on Sunday 4 October, helping us celebrate our 20th Birthday!
