Thank you so much to everyone who joined my miso class😊

I had such a great time talking about fermentation and making miso together. I was honestly so amazed by all the ideas everyone had for using miso as a seasoning — not just for soup!

I hope you enjoy watching your miso ferment at home… checking the smell, the colour, and how it slowly changes. It’s such a special feeling when your own miso starts to come alive. I can’t wait to hear how yours turns out.

So grateful for everyone who joined my miso workshop yesterday!

Some even came all the way from Victor Harbor, thank you! One joined with his son, just like when I was beside my grandmother watching her make miso. Some people I’ve known since my chef days—thank you for your long-term support! And some already knew how to make miso, but came to try a different style.

Such a variety of people joined last night, and everyone truly inspired me.
