Something we didn't think would be possible. Great Wrap have come up with a cling wrap that is Home Compostable. That is right folks, the Gold standard of packaging now is a cling wrap you could throw into your own garden, worm pit, or compost and it will break down.

We will start using this for our meat products and wrapped vegetables. A very heart-warming moment being able to finally offer products 100% home compostable grade.

This year on Christmas day one of our team, an absolute legend, Tiff will be volunteering her time to drive around Adelaide handing out meals and supplies to people in need.

Jaccob and a few others will be giving up their time Christmas eve cooking meals and we are donating all the produce they need and a van for the cause. To give you a bit more information the charity is called helpful hand and this is what they do:

Throughout the year the charity a helpful hand donates to people who are homeless and on Christmas Day we do our biggest donations. We drive around the city of Adelaide with around 30 bags of sanitary items, cooked meals, non perishable foods, hats, thongs and other necessities like socks. Then we donate other foods and cans of drinks to Westcare.

Last year was amazing we had the most cheerful run yet with people singing from happiness a few great full hugs and just an abundance of smiles.

So many people donate to help us make this happen and I’m so great full that I’m in a position and have amazing people around me to help us achieve this

This year we’re planning to go bigger and hand out more gifts and we will also be going to Glenelg to help as many people as we can.

We are looking for a Market specialist!

Everyday we pick up fresh produce, the role is required early mornings, 4-5 days a week depends on your preference. We collect the produce from the Wholesale market, collect a few other items and bring back to the warehouse, would need some assistance load and unloading stock and working in the warehouse for a few hours after the collection is done.

Hours would be usually 4am - 9am (4/5 days a week)

The ideal candidate would be:

- Personable, relationships need to be maintained with our suppliers
- Passionate about the environment!
- Enjoys early mornings!
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to work independently
- Room for growth with this role into delivery work, or general warehouse hours.
- Days/hours are negotiable
