After more than 30 years, we celebrate the next chapter of Flemington Limousins. While it is the end of an era for us, we couldn't be happier knowing that the entire Flemington Limousin herd is staying together and has found such an outstanding home.

We extend our sincere thanks to 𝗔𝗹𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝘀 for their belief in our breeding program and their confidence in its future. Knowing these bulls and females will continue together under such dedicated breeders makes this transition much easier.
The sale of an entire established herd is something seldom seen in the Limousin breed, and we are grateful this rare opportunity has resulted in an outcome that preserves the legacy of the herd.
🧬The acquisition includes some of the program's most influential and proven maternal lines, including Black Lynx, Unreal, Fleur, U-Beaut, Cupcake, Polled Pride, Pretty Lady, Waratah and Courtenay.

⏳️Established in 1994, the Flemington stud was founded on influential genetics acquired from the Rawson Park Dispersal, laying the foundation for a breeding program centred on performance, structural soundness, fertility and longevity.
Many of our foundation females were sired by HC Virginian Lad, part of the first Limousin pair to win the prestigious Hordern Trophy at the 1991 Sydney Royal. Additional foundation females were sourced from renowned studs including Donna Valley, Birubi, Longreach, Red Rock and Oakwood.

🏆Over the years, we've had the privilege of breeding, exhibiting and marketing cattle and genetics that have become part of herds across Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

Whether you've purchased cattle, sold us your genetics, shared your knowledge, lent a hand at shows or simply followed and supported our program, we are truly grateful for the lifelong friendships and connections we've made through the Limousin breed. We look forward to remaining involved and watching the breed continue to grow and prosper for many years to come.
Although our Limousin stud breeding chapter now closes, we are excited to watch Flemington genetics continue to thrive with Alsace Limousins for many years to come.

Class 9 Virtual Taste Test Winner and Highest MSA Index.
Sired by JSRL U Little Ripper U13 that was purchased by DSK & Barana from our 2024 Bull Sale. This steer was 12 months of age weighed 532 kg and dressing 61.2%.
🧬 Maternal brother to U13 sired the SUPREME INTERBREED JUNIOR FEMALE at 2026 Sydney Royal.

Also, special mention to the Maclure Family from Keajura Park who exhibited an Angus steer sired by Flemington Under Control U27 who had the highest MSA Marbling score in class 5. Sire also purchased from our 2024 Bull Sale.
