Join Commodity Ag for the 2026 Harvest Season
Commodity Ag is seeking enthusiastic and reliable people to join our team for the upcoming 2026 harvest season.

As a growing Western Australian agribusiness, Commodity Ag provides a complete Paddock to Port agricultural supply chain, including grain receival, storage, logistics and export. We are looking to build a pool of motivated casual employees to support our operations throughout harvest.

Positions Available
We are seeking Expressions of Interest for the following casual roles:
• Grain Samplers
• Bunker Stacker Operators
• General Harvest Workers
• Grain Receival Operators
• Loader & Plant Operators (where experience permits)
• Truck Drivers (HC & MC)

About the Roles
Depending on the position, duties may include:
• Sampling and grading grain deliveries
• Operating bunker stackers and associated equipment
• Directing truck movements and maintaining traffic flow
• Grain receival and storage operations
• Equipment cleaning and maintenance
• Recording receival information accurately
• Assisting with grain handling and site housekeeping
• Working safely in accordance with company procedures

What We're Looking For successful applicants will demonstrate:
• A strong commitment to workplace safety
• Reliability and a positive work ethic
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Willingness to work long hours, weekends and shift work during peak harvest
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Desirable Skills & Experience

While not essential, experience in any of the following will be highly regarded:
• Agricultural or grain industry experience
• Loader, telehandler or forklift operation
• Heavy machinery operation
• Grain sampling or classification
• HR or MC Driver's Licence (MISC)
• Loader, Forklift or Telehandler tickets
• Front-end loader experience
• Working at Heights, Confined Space or First Aid certificates

Essential Requirements
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Right to work in Australia
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
• Commitment to working safely at all times

May was a busy month at Commodity Ag , not one but two vessels of wheat loaded, three vessels of fertiliser unloaded into the bulk storage sheds along with completing the sowing programme in good time last Thursday just ahead of the long weekend and just in time for our great team to take well earned break while we recieved a handy 12 to 15mm of much needed rain!
June is looking busy with the storage sites being refilled, fertiliser deliveries started and the crop spraying and spreading underway already!
Was great to drive around the farm thismorning and see the self motivation of the team having already cleaned up the air seeders and tractors ready to put away for next season.!

UPDATE, 24000 TON loaded with 8200 remaining, vessel will sail wed morning.

CommodityAG has not only been busy loading bulk vessels but we also have a great team of people working night and day to plant the next crop!
This machine is an 18m SeedStorm planter sowing barley, granular fertiliser and liquid soil wetta injected into each furrow. The aircart is a John Deere C650 4 bin cart and its all towed by a 570hp Versatile tractor.
With around 40% of the 11340ha programme of canola, lupins, barley and wheat planted this team still has a few weeks of hard work ahead of them

Stella Maris seafarers mission do so much hard work taking care of seafarers that come to the Albany Port!
After chatting with them at the recent Port Fest and finding out the fuel crisis was impacting their service CommodityAG are now donating a tank fuel of fuel every month to help them provide this great service.

Big thankyou to Southern Ports for the 200 year Portfest Celebrations.
What a great success the whole day was with approx 6000 people through the gates.
Great opportunity for the public to come inside the port and see how it operates and talk with the port users and service providers.
Also a great opportunity for CommodityAG to showcase its success in grain exports out of WA.

Safe trip to China for the Ocean Ersa and its crew with 33115.23 tons barley onboard from CommodityAG
Ocean Ersa is only 7 months old and this is only its 5th cargo since new!

FEW QUICK STATISTICS-

- 182.9m LOA
- Marshall Island flagged vessel with 21 crew on board.
- sailed with 33115.32 ton on board at 9.62m draft
- was loaded with the CommodityAG with the mobile shiploader on berth 2.
- 653 truck loads of grain delivered over 5.5 days using 9 CommodityAG trucks and 18 trailers with Envirochute patented dust mitigation technology fitted by Duraquip, a subsidiary of the same family group that owns and operates CommodityAG
- all cargo was loaded from two of CommodityAGs' nearby storage and handling locations using 2 Shantui loaders with high tip buckets in a 24 hr operation.

The weather was kind, the crew were great and once again the amazing team of people that work at CommodityAG stepped up to the challenge with ease and delivered this great result for WA grain growers!
