What’s a myth/belief/Old Wives Tale/superstition you were told or grew up with, that you later learned wasn’t true or always suspected wasn’t right?

My Mum said that capsicum seeds were poisonous.
I have NO idea where that came from, although her Mum was VERY superstitious.

Anyhow, I would be long dead by now if they were!

My chooks think they are amazing
