Hey all,
just to clear everything up for everyone I will go into a little detail but not to much so you can understand to why I have moved.
We have been removed from the premises due to the reason of Rent and Electricity that was demanded from the owner of the premises even know it was paid and they demanded I owed them $5,000.
When they found out I was selling the van
They kept saying we owed them 2-5k the reason I say (2-5) is because they weren’t able to show where the money was owing and kept changing it every week right before Christmas.
They demanded I stayed open all day every day and wasn’t allowed to have Christmas off. They were controlling my business even know I paid rent always.
Due to being a small independent buisness I was not able to pay thousands of dollars months in advanced which caused a lot of stress on me as they would tell me about a bill for electricity and expect it to be paid that night and if not I can take the van and leave which In turn make me fall behind with suppliers.
There sales have dropped massively due to them stop selling certain products that shall not be named, They where looking for somebody to blame and won’t stop messaging and calling me till this day.
We do thank everyone who enjoyed the food and also appreciate the feedback from those who didn’t if they had any.
Unfortunately due to the owner of this premises behaviour we have not got our 10ft shipping container as the landlord is trying to stop us any way they can from getting it and trying once again to say we owe them money that is definitely not owed and the amount is changing now over and over again.
The container is empty though it does have a meaning of what I manage to accomplish with not paying myself a wage and commuting to the business the support of all my customers
If anyone does see this get tampered with please do reach out as I’m nowhere near Wollongong anymore as I have moved away I do still own the van and one day hope to reopen but not at this moment I’m unfortunately not in the capacity to be running the business and need a break and am unsure if I will be starting the van back up due to the current experience and harassment that I received from the owner of the complex in which the van was situated
I’m not making this post to shame anyone I’m just being honest with the community as that is what I have always done, so if anyone does get offended by this post I’m sorry but in my opinion honesty is the best policy.
Please if you don’t agree then feel free to explain why, I’m sure many others will agree and say that community awareness on what’s going on around there is always a good thing.
I write this post with deep thoughts and will miss all that supported me on my journey and I hope to see use all again as I think I will set the van up at events only after the experience tha I received.
