A little timeline cleanse and some info. It’s a long weekend but that doesn’t mean much down at the box factory. If you’re in Sydney, we’re delivering all weekend. MONASTERO SUORE VITORCHIANO takes over PARADISE. Thanks to Vino Mito and DRNKS.

About an hour north of Rome, the Monastero Trappiste di Vitorchiano was opened in 1957, when the community moved into the abbey, and today is home to around eighty sisters of the Cistercian Order of the Strict Observance, better known as the Trappists. The order follows the Benedictine principle of ora et labora (“pray and work”), understanding work above all in a manual and agricultural sense. For the sisters, farming is not simply labour but a contemplative act, a way of living in harmony with nature rather than possessing it.

Natural Information #23! We're going to Piedmont / Piemonte / Pyrmont. Come and try the amazing wines of Eugenio Bo****no. Pierre and I will be joined by the Australian importer Mattia from Vino Mito / Paski alongside Eugenio's daughter Lucia. There's 5 wines from Eugenio and 1 wine from a side project of his to start the night off. $30 to try 6 wines or $55 to try 6 wines and get a bowl of pasta. WILD. See ya' there. 🍺

Umbria is the green heart of Italy. It is a region with a long winemaking history and an even longer agricultural history. Farm land. Heaps of Fiat Pandas. Heaps of tractors. Good eating. Good drinking. It's a nice spot. Go if you can. Go and see James and Annie. They're doing amazing things down at Beulah Violetta, their farm just outside the village of Todi. We had a chat with them about everything happening at the farm and nearby...

BC Wines - to describe the Carwyn family has having their fingers in a few pies would be the understatement of the century. In the context of Huge Moves? Some of the best wines we see when it comes to value for money. Good viticulture too!

Crusher Wines - Prior to Crusher existing the only wines from QLD we stocked were ###X Gold... And that was only because we couldn’t get ###X Bitter.

Geyer Wine Co. + Yetti & The Kokonut - Big Dave Geyer fans over here, some of the most interesting wines we see out of the Barossa Valley.

Margan - we’re very lucky to have Ollie Margan in the house for Moves #11. His Breaking Ground wines are changing the Hunter Valley game.

Oiseau et Renard - Pierre and I are going to pour my mum’s wine (and maybe ’s Stesso Stesso) at the door while we’re scanning tickets. Should be interesting.

Periphery Wine Imports - The Chinese have been making wine for a very long time, but it was a rare experience to taste. Not anymore, thanks to Hamish from Periphery!

Ravensworth Wines - Bryan Martin needs no introduction - he’s one of Australia’s leading winemakers. His son, Lewis, will be showing the wines at Moves - he probably needs a little introduction. So introduce yourself.

Rosnay - Basically every single natural wine that says it is from NSW buys their fruit from Rosnay. Rosnay also makes their own wines. Try them!

Saison Aperitifs - This is a very rare opportunity. Taste the best vermouth being made in Australia with Dave, the bloke that makes it. Nice.

Worlds Apart Wines - Louis and Hannah and the kids will be there. They’re also bringing all their current releases plus a couple f new ones!

Bink - Koen is from Belgium and makes exceptionally well priced wines from vineyards in the Barossa and Eden Valleys. I asked him to send me a photo of himself, or the wines, or the vineyards... He sent one of his dog doing a poo.

Matt Fox? What more can we say? The man. The myth. The silver fox. The best hair in the game. Some amazing imports. Find him - he’ll probably have a million wines open to taste.

Can Bob be Frank with you? He can. And you can still be Frank. Frankly, this wine was made by Bob and also his son Tom was heavily involved and also they have a very cool wine bar in the Blue Mountains and they’re taking a break from it just to show all of you some wine.

Tim Ward AKA I’ll Fly Away... AKA one of Australia’s best fizz makers AKA the mayor of Newcastle. Impossible to miss!

LoFi will be pouring some of their favourite imports. Last time it was Gut Oggau! This time who knows? It’s a surprise.

The Belford’s are coming! Bobar make some of our favourite Yarra Valley wines and more importantly this family knows how to party. Also, Tom is really good at accounting.

Brendan Cato is making super interesting wines in this tiny part of the Adelaide Hills that is right next to McLaren Vale and some people still call it McLaren Vale but it’s technically the Adelaide Hills. Come try them.

Big Les Fruits will be there. The alter ego of incredible importer Tim Stock. He’ll have all of his South Australian juice in tow. Worth a chat.

I can’t believe Stoney Rise is coming. FINALLY. Joe poured wines (alongside Mike Bennie) at the first one of these I ever did. Enjoy the rare opportunity of seeing us in the same room as each other. I know I will.
