We've previously highlighted this filly, who has now secured another city win. Dreamzel fought hard to the line to claim victory at Sandown at the juicy odds of $19.
She proved to be a shrewd investment being secured for just $40,000 and this marks her seventh win.
Her dam, Live to Dream, is by the champion stallion Snitzel out of the excellent breeding mare Shoboard. Dreamzel is a full sister to our other resident mare Just Field. Congratulations to the winning connections.

Lustre Lodge is a boutique 80-acre thoroughbred broodmare operation at Alison on the NSW Central Coast. We’re looking for a passionate and capable person to manage the day-to-day running of the stud.
The role covers the full breeding calendar:
🔹 Foaling
🔹 Matings coordination
🔹 Yearling preparation
🔹 Sales preparation and attendance
🔹 Farm and pasture management
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has solid hands-on experience in a thoroughbred breeding environment
• Is calm, reliable and skilled in the foaling barn
• Cares deeply about horse welfare and doing the job right
• Wants genuine responsibility in a quality boutique operation
This is a role where you’ll have real ownership of the stud’s performance — working with owners in a small, focused team.
