This poor baby was born in the mud and rain yesterday.

* 3 x lots of colostrum
* individual pen with wood heater, fan heater and skillion roof cubby
* half hourly change over of heat packs and water bottles
* fire maintained over night
* now sitting at 38.5o, walking a bit, slowly getting stronger!

Thanks to Hampden Veterinary Clinic - the amazing Dave Buckle for holding our hand through this! 🥳 This little girl is a strong, proven pedigree line to add to our herd.

Who would have thought this time last year we were wondering weather or not to resow. With the seed being in the ground for 9 weeks with no rain. This year cows are feeding on it what a turn around . Annual rye/ balansa clover blend defiently a blessing.
