Last night's dinner was a mixed bag.
Potato salad loaded with fresh dill from the garden, onion, boiled eggs, mayo, salt & pepper.
Team that with chic peas, cabbage, capsicum, onion, celery, mushrooms & garden peas cooked off with curry powder, cinnamon, powdered cloves, salt, pepper, garlic.
Simple food using what we have in the garden, fridge, pantry.
I love making something from very little and this did not disappoint.
Meals can be quick and easy with simple pantry staples. Use what you have, spice things up, let your imagination take over. Break all the rules and enjoy some creativity in the kitchen.
I share hoping to inspire others, I know how hard it can be to come up with different meals.

The weekend flew by pantry friends.
We hope you enjoyed some down time, family time, social time, whatever it is that makes you tick.
A few jobs about the garden today and our first pick ever of homegrown asparagus.
Small pick but a mighty taste, a sign of the good to come.
Yummy, cheese & asparagus toasties for dinner at ours tonight.
Sunday night is for simple bites and relaxing, we hope your evening is a good one.

A note of thanks to all who dropped into the Warwick Farmers-Market today and stopped by our stall. It is a priveledge to bake for all of our rwgular customers and we are constantly seeing new faces too which is great.
We had another fab day with just a few bits left over. Demand for sourdough pizza bases has slowed so we might bring them monthly instead of fortnightly for a while, times and seasons as they say!!
Have a fantastic weekend, do something nice, enjoy.
