Wondering what you can do with one pack? A whole lot!

When fresh fruit isn’t on hand or your favourite fruit is out of season, simply pour McKenzie’s Bitz, mix and bake.

We'll be thinking of .please's raspberry cheesecake all day. With McKenzie's Raspberry Bitz on hand, there's never a wrong time to make this one. 🧡

Recipe below 👇🏻
Ingredients
Base
250g Digestive biscuits
100g butter, melted

Cheesecake Filling
1 bag of McKenzie's Raspberry Bitz
500g cream cheese, softened
½ cup icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla
200g white chocolate, melted
300ml thickened cream
2 tsp gelatine powder
¼ cup boiling water
Zest of 1 lime

Method
1. Crush the Digestive biscuits and mix with the melted butter. Press firmly into a lined 20cm springform tin and refrigerate.
2. Sprinkle the gelatine over the boiling water and stir until completely dissolved. Set aside to cool slightly.
3. Beat the cream cheese, icing sugar lime zest and vanilla until smooth.
4. Add the cooled gelatine mixture and mix until combined.
5. Whip the cream to soft peaks and gently fold through the cheesecake mixture.
6. Fold through the whole bag of Raspberry Bitz, ensuring it is evenly distributed throughout the filling.
7. Pour over the chilled Digestive biscuit base and smooth the top.
8. Melt white chocolate and pour over the cheesecake layer.
9. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.

Middle Eastern Inspired Salad with Mung Bean & Bulgur🥗
Ingredients
- 1 cup McKenzie's Australian Mung Beans
- 1 cup bulgur wheat
- 1 cucumber
- ½ red capsicum
- 8 cherry tomatoes
- 3 radishes
- Handful of parsley
- 100g Greek-style feta
- 1 pomegranate, kernels only
- 12-15 mint leaves
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 2 tbs red wine vinegar
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Pinch of salt

Method
1. Cook McKenzie's Australian Mung Beans in 4 cups of water for 30 mins until tender.
2. Cook bulgur wheat in 2 cups of water for 12 mins. Rest for 5 mins, then fluff with a fork.
3. Dice the vegetables and herbs, and crumble the feta.
4. Combine bulgur, McKenzie's Australian Mung Beans, vegetables and parsley. Add olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice and salt, then toss.
5. Top with feta, pomegranate and mint.

One base. Four protein-packed dinners 🌮

Five-ingredient mung bean base:

🫘 2 cups pre-soaked and cooked McKenzie’s Mung Beans
🧅 1 small onion, diced
🧄 2 garlic cloves, minced
🍅 2 tbs tomato paste
🌶️ 2 tbs taco seasoning

Sauté the onion until softened, then add the garlic, tomato paste and taco seasoning. Stir through the mung beans with a splash of water and cook for 5-8 minutes, lightly mashing until the mixture comes together.
