RELIABLE WORKERS REQUIRED for fun work selling & handing out for free..... Snow Cones, Fairy Floss & Popcorn! Looking for at least 2 workers to add to our fun & friendly team!
Currently I am looking for workers that are available to work WEEKENDS AND WEEKDAYS
*IMMEDIATE START FOR THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT/S!
ABOUT SNOWY JOEY: Our Company has been operating for 16 years, is well known in the Industry and is an Industry leader. We attend events at Schools, Sporting Clubs, Universities, Corporate Functions etc... with our Snow Cones, Fairy Floss & Popcorn mainly on weekends but but also quite a few weekday events.
WOULD SUIT
* Students
* Travellers
* Older workers that want part time work
* Anyone that is doing other part time work & wants to supplement that with some event work.

WHAT'S INVOLVED IN THE JOB?
• You come to our location at Annerley, load the Snow Cones/Fairy Floss/Popcorn setups into your car then go to your allocated event around Brisbane & up & down the coast.
*If you are working as a 2nd worker you head straight to the event.
• You setup at the event, sell or hand out for free the Snow Cones/Fairy Floss/Popcorn on the day, then pack up at the end of the event & come back to unload.
PAYMENT IF YOU HAVE AN ABN
• If you already have an ABN you will be paid as a Contractor on an Initial 3 month contract with an option to extend.
• The Contractor Service Agreement outlines all the requirements & conditions of the job, including the pay. If you meet the initial requirements this information will be emailed to you.
Average payment is between $150 - $240 per day depending on the length of the event.
PLEASE NOTE that as a contractor you are free to send others to work the events. They will just need to be trained, so if you are not able to work an event you can send someone else to work that event & it will be paid out to you under your ABN.
PAYMENT IF YOU DON'T HAVE AN ABN
* You will be paid as a PAYG employee
Please note that this work better suits ABN holders that already have other work as event work can be variable and should not be considered as dependable regular income especially in these COVID times when events can be postponed or cancelled based on government directives.
Having said that, if you feel that this work would suit you & don't have an ABN number then you will be employed as a PAYG employee.
TRAINING
• You will receive on the job training at events.
• You get to work in a friendly fun environment where everyone from the Organizer to the customer is happy!!
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE, OR BE PREPARED TO DO
• Have or get your own transport: a medium to large size car, sedan, Ute or 4wd is required, or a smaller car & a box trailer to transport the setups to the events. A car the size of a Rav 4 or a sedan is ideal for this type of work.
• MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK AT LEAST 2 OUT OF THE 5 WEEKDAYS (our busiest weekdays seem to be Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays) AND ALSO ON MOST SATURDAY'S & SUNDAY'S IN THE BUSY PERIOD which is August to December.
• If you are on your L's then you will need a suitable adult that can go with you to the event or drop you off at the event & pick you up at the end of the event.
• BE PHYSICALLY ABLE TO MOVE, LIFT & CARRY the eskies of ice in & out of your car. These can weight up to 20kg.
• LIVE IN, OR TRAVEL FROM, THE BRISBANE CITY AREA as you need to come to ANNERLEY to load & then unload at the end of the event. Ideally a max of 20mins from Bald Hills
• Be able to use your mobile phone to download POS apps to use in-conjunction with our POS Square Reader
• The ability to deal professionally with organizers and other adults at events
• Honesty, Reliability & Punctuality – CRITICALLY IMPORTANT
• Be confident and have the ability to problem solve at events.
