Well done to all at the KJNS Cattle Team for a great effort at the Clermont Show, bringing home a swag of all coloured ribbons and lots of experience from their first show of 2026. Chuffed that our junior heifer , WARRALEA JOYFUL (Gillmara Grazing Gillmara G.I.) picked up a red ribbon and little brother WARRALEA KINGSLEY (Locarno Kingswood) earned a blue ribbon in the baby bull class, after only 14 days of education and preparation. Our small Droughtmaster team are the first in over 40 years to carry the Warralea prefix into a show ring, so its been a while. Congratulations to Cliff & Sasha Mylrea on taking out the supreme exhibit in Clermont , Needmor Droughtmaster Maverick and all those involved with the Clermont Show 2026. Safe travels and good luck to the young KJNS Cattle Team members for the trip west to Hughenden and Winton shows over the coming week.

PS- Warrina Droughtmasters / Warralea Droughtmasters will have grassfed, working age Droughtmaster bulls at the Northern Beef Producers Expo, Charters Towers for display/sale 5th/6th June. Come visit ! 0428976345

All the best and good luck to all exhibitors, paraders and organizers at the 40th Droughtmaster Futurity. It doesnt seem that long ago when the call went out from Val & Neil Evans (Balcara), to come and support the inaugural event, back in 1986 at the Gatton Showgrounds. The plan was to create an event to showcase & educate the young people and young cattle of our breed who would one day, fly the flag of Droughtmasters. How proud you must be, Val, to see the result of all the hard work done by you and your fellow organizers in all the early years of this event. I know at that time, Warralea Droughtmasters broke a 10+ year hiatus from the show ring to help support that first 1986 event under the expert eye of Judge Ray Philips. With a little luck and the help of the young people from the KJNS Cattle Team, Charters Towers, we hope the revived Warralea Droughtmasters Prefix will again be seen , after many many years, at a few ag shows, albeit at the other end of the state. Some things change, but the industries future is still in the hands our young people and young animals they take interest in.

Avail now in SEQ, close to clearing dip, Couple of very decent quality, Registered (D5), Droughtmaster heifers by our Mungalla Klassic sire (in Pic). Both are well grown, long females who have not been overpampered and are ready for a bull. Bred in the tropics, from very good cow bloodlines, they represent good value for money and perfect for a Stud startup. Warralea / Warrina Droughtmasters 0419029791 or 0428976345
