While our strawberry plants are resting, our dedicated team is hard at work. 🔨🚜

Take a look at the massive metal frames our team is assembling out in the fields. Right now, it looks like a giant steel maze, but soon, these hoops will be covered and housing our new baby strawberry plants.

These tunnels are vital to protect our plants from bad weather, produce sweeter juicier berries, and extend our picking season. 🍓

We had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic group of first year medical students from the UQ Medical School at the farm today. 🚜

Investing in rural health means showing the next generation of doctors how special our regional communities are. We hope that their visit to Stanthorpe this week inspired them to continue their path towards a rewarding career in rural medicine.

Things might look a little quiet in our strawberry tunnels right now, but there's no such thing as an "off-season" on the farm! 🚜🍓

Right now, our team is hard at work planting, tending to the resting plants, and making sure everything is perfect for when the warmer weather returns. Great strawberries start with skilled attention, and we're putting in the hours now so we can bring you the sweetest berries later! 🥰

🍓A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who joined us today for our Charity Strawberry Picking Event!🍓

We are so incredibly grateful for the amazing turnout and the beautiful community spirit we saw today. Thanks to your generous support, we raised vital funds for causes that are important to us all.

Quick heads-up for everyone coming to our Charity Strawberry Pick tomorrow to raise funds for Are You Bogged Mate? and Granite Belt Neighbourhood Centre! 🍓

Just a reminder that we prefer cash 💲as there is no EFTPOS available, so please make sure to stop by an ATM on your way over. (You can also do a bank transfer if cash isn't your thing.)

Also, we highly recommend dressing in layers so you can easily adjust and stay comfortable while picking because it going to be minus 1 in the morning, but 19 during the day. 🥶🌞

🍓 ARE YOU BOGGED MATE? 🍓

We are opening our farm for a special PYO strawberry day, and every punnet you pick will help save lives in the bush!

Mental health struggles can hit any of us. In the country, blokes don't always talk about it. They just get stuck—or "bogged"—down in the mud. Are You Bogged Mate? is a fantastic charity doing life-changing work. They break down the stigma surrounding rural mental health by speaking to country blokes in a language they actually understand.

We want to help them pull some mates out of the mud, but we can't do it without you.

Here is how you can support the cause:
🚜 Come and pick: Bring the whole family down for a great day in the fresh air.
💰Donate $9 and pick yourself 1kg of delicious strawberries.
🍓Eat for a cause: All strawberry sales on the day will be donated straight to Are You Bogged Mate? and to the Granite Belt Neighbourhood Centre. Let’s come together as a community, enjoy some fresh berries, and make sure our rural mates know they don't have to face the heavy lifting alone.

The Granite Belt Neighbourhood Centre, a vital not-for-profit dedicated to improving individual, family and community wellbeing, will be one of the two recipients of funds raised at our PYO on August the 8th.

Stephen Baronio paid them a visit today to see for himself how they are helping to improve lives here in Stanthorpe and the surrounding areas.
