What a day at the Woolooga Droughtmaster Bull and Female Sale on Saturday!
We are still buzzing and incredibly grateful.
We were honoured to be judged Best Pen of Bulls for Lots 5 and 6 presale—a real highlight for our team for a draft we were very proud to present. Both lots were sired by True Blue Eastwood and represented some of the first offerings of his progeny.
The sale was a credit to the vendors and agents, with bulls selling strongly on the day. Overall, we averaged $14,000 for our four bulls offered.
Lot 5, Benjamin Benedictus, achieved the top price of the day, selling for $24,000 to Jemcar Droughtmasters. Thank you to the Carter family for your support—we can’t wait to see what Benedictus produces for you.
His pen mate and fellow True Blue Eastwood son, Lot 6 Benjamin Buck, also received strong interest, eventually selling for $19,000 to Solterra Pastoral. This was a standout result, and we are very appreciative of the support for this bull.
Thankyou also to M and W Donahue and Mt Brisbane Droughtmasters for the purchases of Lots 7 and 9 respectively. We are confident these boys will perform for you.
Overall, it was a very rewarding day that really rounded out a lot of preparation, planning, and hard work from our team. It was great to see the cattle so well received in a strong market and for the bulls we produced to be so well appreciated.
A special thank you to Sullivan Livestock, Ethan Carter, sale sponsors and all other vendors for running a smooth, well organised sale and presenting a quality line of bulls.
