Thirty, Flirty & Thriving. Lil bday cake for my pal ❤️‍🔥

Usually when I’m trying out a new recipe for a cake, I do a trial run beforehand, but alas, time didn’t allow so I had to wing it and hope for the best. This one is 4 layers of lemon velvet cake, soaked in lemon vanilla syrup filled with lemon curd & Swiss meringue buttercream (but I toasted the meringue before mixing the butter in to get a bit of a lemon meringue pie vibe through it) worked in my favour in this case 🫡
