It’s Father’s Day this weekend and every dad wants a good feed of primo local wild caught seafood for Father’s Day.. With the weather dropping down I’m heading out to the reef to hunt you mob up some amazing fresh reef fish..
Because I’m going fishing I will only be trading Friday this week so if you don’t come down to the Arcadia Village Hotelon Friday (tomorrow) between 12pm and 5pm you’ll miss out..
Super tasty cooked king prawns, primo oysters by the dozen, Tassie scallop meat with roe on, raw prawns if ya want to cook ya own and heaps of amazing fish fillets to choose from..

I over ordered on live mussels and have about 15kg of excess live black mussels available and I’m happy to sell them at cost price of $15 per kg..

The Maggie fishmonger is trading today at the Arcadia pub from 12pm to 5pm and is loaded with heaps of amazing fresh line caught fish I caught on Wednesday!!
Also just arriving yesterday is another fresh load of live black mussels in 1kg packs.. only 20 packs so if you don’t want to miss out get down here straight away before they sell out..
Super tasty cooked large king prawns and also available raw if you want to cook your own..
premium Ayre peninsula Oysters by the dozen..
Beautiful fish wings perfect for the bbq.. my favourite part of the fish..
Fish fillets of the week are Red Emperor and Ruby snapper..

Just back from an epic 24 hours out over the continental shelf hunting for some amazing deep water fish..
A couple of new PB’s on Ruby snapper and this giant Bar cod..
Massive shout out to Lone Star Marine Drum Winches & Accessories for the new DDX 250 deep drop winch… This reel is an absolute weapon and handles the biggest fish with ease!!
Everything about this reel is next level.. from its functionality, build quality, power and brute strength but most of all the next level customer service from Malki and his team.. Australian 🇦🇺 company and Australian made…..
If you want to get out in the deep chasing fish like this I highly recommend getting one of these reels!!

The Maggie fishmonger just back from the reef late last night with a fresh load of amazing line caught reef fish that will be available this Friday and Saturday @ Arcadia Village Hotel from 12pm to 5pm..
On the fish menu this week are the following..

Without a doubt the toughest Australian made anchor winches period.. And the new DDX250 deep drop winch is a game changer!!
On my boat I run the GX3 drum winch and it’s absolutely the best drum winch I’ve ever owned.. I also run the new DDX 250 for for deep dropping and I’m so excited about this winch and the fish it’s going to catch me..

Have I got a treat for you this week.. Big,heavy rusty buck live mud crabs arriving in the morning and will be available tomorrow at Arcadia Village Hotel from 12pm to 5pm..
These crabs got caught up in Cardwell today so they are super fresh… limited numbers so if you don’t want to miss out get in early!! Chilly mudcrab……
Heaps of amazing line caught reef fish available and this weeks fish of the week is the super tasty deep water Ruby snapper and flame tail snapper.. some of the best eating fish there is..
