Our latest specialty beer is ✨The Breakfast of Champions Pastry stout✨ (6.3% ABV)!
~ A Pastry stout (aka Dessert stout🍰) is a sweet dark beer that mimics the flavours of a pastry, dessert, biscuit or cake! It is brewed intentionally sweet, and flavours are added during brewing or while the beer is conditioning.
We chose to flavour our Pastry stout with homegrown vanilla, FNQ cocoa and coconut, and Tasmanian hazelnut.
The result is a sweet, creamy but very drinkable dark beer.
Excitingly, we collaborated with Burra Bakehouse in Yungaburra to come up with the flavours! We reckon it matches perfectly with their delicious baked offerings😋
