Kerry Cottage is a 520-acre property located in the New England area on Northern NSW, approximately 30km South-west of Texas QLD and 30kn North-west of Ashford NSW. The owning family brought the property back in 2013 and since purchase have tried numerous enterprises to find the most sustainable and suitable business adventure for the area. Since deciding that the cattle and goat enterprise would

be the most beneficial giving our location, the family have improved fencing on the property, as well as improving the stock yards, to allow for both proposed enterprises to be run in unison. The owner's family strive to deliver consumers a top-quality product and will personally vouch for produce supplied off our property.

My wonderful partners efforts on the garden and rabbit hutch whilst I've been away on a very long and tiring 3 week swing!

So lucky to have such great support at home!

So whilst my partner has been busy at work on the farm, I have been busy at well... work.

This swing he has all but completed the garden and the rabbit hutch! Exciting!!!

And I have completed the development of 2 different apps!

The first one is called "Aussie Garden Mate" and is currently in the testing phase with Google Play Store and has 100 registed testers trialling it out as we speak! It aims at providing location specific information on what to plant and when! Once the testing is completed and any bugs are ironed out I plan to have it avaliable for free for Android users!

The second is a web based app called "FieldCore" and it focuses on the civil and mining industry, offering paperless Timesheets, Prestarts and Defect Reports that can be approved and viewed by management and exported as PDF files.

I have future plans to expand this app to include more features eventually, but for the intrum I have presented it to my company in hopes they will be interested in testing it out free for a few months untill I can guarantee a good product and maybe make some side coin from it!

My partner has almost completed the roofing of the garden!! He's been working at nights when is cooler to achieve his vision and I am so proud of his efforts! Im hoping these days off I can help him get the shade cloth on and help him complete this project. He has been battling away with pretty much by himself over the past few months whilst I work away and I am so blown away by his efforts!!!

Semi productive last 3 days of my swing home!

- Reconnected oil pressure line on the old excavator and freed up some siezed levers,
- Pulled up the non-working bore pump,
- Conmect and sunk a new bore pump (and pulled it back up and sunk again like 4 times trying to get the well sensor to work 🤨),
- Checked the bees for pests and surplus honey (nothing on both ends) and,
- Helped my amazing partner with with installing the garden frame and bracing getting ready to put shade cloth up!

But the most exciting part was seeing water fill the tanks!!

My amazing partner has been working non stop to set up our garden so we can become more self sustainable and reduce the current stresses of grocery shopping! We have room for more garden beds up one side, a worm farm thats been established and a garden tea brewing!

I am blown away by the drive and ability of my partner every day! The garden is missing shad cloth and roof braces but it's nearly to what he envisioned, and way past what I envisioned 🤗!
