How much time do you waste stirring jelly crystals until they disolve ??? Well with a Thermomix® it saves you that time by doing the stirring. All you need to do is pour in the water and crystals and turn the dial and away you go. I have created this on My Recipes as it has saved the time and speed to mix it .

Thicken mode: Do you use it? Do you want to use it but just don’t know how?.
I never retain quantities and usually just skip to the steps in the guided cooking🫣🤣. Anyway I’m trying to do better and get the most out of my Thermomix® but also as awesome as it is having the step by step guide I do find it takes me longer as have to search recipe and follow along where as the Thicken mode you put it all in and shake it all about and it’s done🤣. So gravy I’ve found the sweet spot from gravy quantity and quality we like so even if I have jotted down on my gravy container the quantity I just place the amounts in machine, turn the dial on Thicken mode and let the machine do the rest. Im getting there with my white/cheese sauce🤣.

Kettle Mode: When you want a drink at the right temp this is where Kettle mode beats a regular kettle. Due to sore throat from being so congested I thought I would have “1 honey and lemon” drink before bed cause snoring with a sore throat will be fun😵‍💫. So I put in how much water I want, add 2 tablespoons of lemon and a Tablespoon of honey. I then select what temp I want on kettle mode and away she goes. I selected 40° as didn’t want it too hot that it burn my mouth but enough to melt the honey down. I checked but felt it needed a bit more so too it to 45°. I could have had a tad hotter but didn’t want to risk it being too hot (then I should have just stuck to a regular kettle🤣). Also kettle mode also isn’t just quieter than some kettles it’s also more energy saving than using a kettle. I like the idea of just heating the exact amount I need.
It’s great for specialist tea that needs certain degree heating or kids hot chocolate/milo and you don’t need to worry about them burning their mouths on it but also you can froth it up after to make it fancy.

Another reason I love my TM7. I have the tendency to look at the scales but not retain what they were so in this case I was adding in extra oats as Dylan decided he wanted porridge at last minute (so a recipe on Cookidoo® but scale up wasn’t option so I freestyle it). I put in the milk then went to water and try to top up for the added oats but forgot how much milk I put in, so I was able to just click back on the milk button and it tells me how much I put it.🥳.
