This one has arrived a little sooner than expected. Because some stories can't wait for next vintage.

Each year, we capture the heroine of our Ladies who Shoot their Lunch wines on a new adventure, creating a limited-edition artwork that becomes part of the story of the range.

The 2026 release carries a deeper story.

After bushfires swept through out Strathbogie Ranges vineyards, the landscape that has shaped our wines for decades was forever changed. While the vines were lost, our deep respect for the land, and its remarkable ability to recover, remains stronger than ever.

Set against the fire-scarred landscape, our Lady moves forward gracefully. Flames rise behind her, not as destruction, but as transformation. There is strength in her stride, a sense of purpose in what lies ahead and an unwavering endurance. This art is a symbol of resilience, renewal and the determination to begin again.

She stands fiercely, yet with poise, embodying everything Ladies who Shoot their Lunch represents: strength, elegance and resilience.

Winter in the Strathbogie Ranges brings plenty of crisp mornings, and even a blanket of frost across the land sometimes!

Against the backdrop of green regrowth, these cool mornings are a beautiful reminder of just how much has changed. New lambs are arriving, tucked in close to their mums for warmth, while the land continues to slowly heal. 🐑🌿

Our Chief Winemaker Matt Harrop loves a chat, especially when it comes to Pinot Noir! Watch as we taste our way through our Farm to Table, Are you Game? and Ladies who Shoot their Lunch Pinot Noirs up at the winery. 🍷

Three wines, three very different expressions of Pinot, and three little snapshots of our Strathbogie Ranges vineyards in a bottle. We feel pretty lucky to have them, and we hope you enjoy a nice drop of Pinot today on International Pinot Noir Day! 🙌

Today, on World Honey Bee Day, we're celebrating some of our smallest team members! 🐝

Our bees originally called the vineyard home, but luckily, our hives had been moved to the safety of our Cellar Door for summer when the fires came through.

Now, these remarkable little workers are busy doing what they do best, and soon, we’ll be harvesting our very own Fowles honey! 🍯

From our kitchen to yours... ❄️🍷

There's nothing quite like the comfort of slow-cooked meals, great wine and gathering around the table on a winter's day.

To celebrate the release of our Farm to Table 2024 Sangiovese and Farm to Table 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon, our Head Chef has created two hearty recipes designed to bring out the very best in each wine.

Think Milk-Braised Goat with Truffle Polenta paired with our vibrant Sangiovese, or a rich, slow-cooked Beef Bourguignon alongside our beautifully structured Cabernet Sauvignon.

Ready to recreate them at home? Visit the link below to discover the recipes, perfect pairings and bring a little taste of Fowles to your table this winter. We hope they warm your belly, your soul and your home. ❤️

Twenty years on, and our annual salami weekend is still one of our favourite traditions. 🇮🇹🍷
A couple of weekends ago, family and friends gathered once again in Alan McNeil’s shed to roll, season, stuff and tie close to 200 salamis. Alongside the traditional recipes were a few new creations, including a spicy batch and a pork and wild shot venison blend.
It’s never just about the salami… it’s about good company, plenty of laughs, and keeping a much-loved tradition alive. Here’s to another 20 years!

Each year we capture the heroine of our Ladies who Shoot their Lunch wines on a different escapade in art form, commissioning a run of strictly limited edition prints. ❤️

The 2025 poster pays homage to our rich generational history of farming the land, with livestock and cropping before we moved into vineyards. We’ve farmed across the width and breadth of Australia and now call the Strathbogie Ranges, Victoria home.

Positioned quietly beneath the shelter of an old tree we based off a tree on our sheep farm Killeen, our Lady watches over the sheep that play their role in the cycle of the farm.

This piece reflects a softer moment. A recognition that great wine begins long before the vineyard, shaped by the balance of the entire farm. As always, she commands quiet respect, embodying the essence of Ladies who Shoot their Lunch: considered, confident and deeply connected to place.

Recently, we set the kitchen team a challenge to find the perfect winter warming dish to our Ladies who Shoot their Lunch 2023 Chardonnay.

They headed on an adventure to collect fresh Pine Mushrooms at the pine plantation near Strathbogie and came back to the kitchen to create this beautiful dish with fresh mushrooms, handmade gnocchi, porcini crème fraîche, pine nuts, aged parmesan and crispy kale… The perfect winter warmer! 😋
