Vintage looked a little different this year, but Matt and Tegan are up for the challenge!

It’s a bittersweet moment in time; while there’s a sadness in not working with fruit from our own vineyards, there’s also a quiet excitement around the winery. With fruit hand sourced from elite Victorian growers, we have had an opportunity to explore varietals we’ve never worked with before and approach different winemaking styles while still staying true to the philosophies and practices that have shaped our wines in the past. 🍷

It’s been a little while since we’ve shared a foodie post. This Autumn, it has been nice to slow down, refresh the menu and reconnect with what we love, which is thoughtful food and wine experiences that reflect our love of regional and seasonal produce.

Caring for Mother Nature has taken on a deeper meaning for us, as the quiet clean-up continues… piece by piece, day by day.

In the stillness, we’re taking the time to think carefully about how we shape the vineyard moving forward… with intention, respect, and patience guiding every decision.

We’ve always believed in farming in nature’s image, and that hasn’t changed. If anything, it feels more important now than ever. 🌿

We continue to be blown away by the support from all of you, and the wine industry from all over Australia.

Around a month ago, the team from Endeavour Drinks (Dan Murphy’s, BWS and Langton’s) visited us. Like many, they saw our devastation firsthand and wanted to help.

A few weeks later, under their own initiative, they organised an army of people, tools and amazing energy to come up and replant the garden beds that our winery team look at every day. They worked hard over two days, turning the view of blackened soil to green plants and trees. They even brought the team care packages full of comforting goodies.

We were blown away by the gesture and so grateful to feel a sense of renewal at the winery, just in time for a very different looking vintage this year.

A huge thanks to the Endeavour Drinks team, in our darkest hours, you brought the light!
