🎥 Silverdale Academy Making Headlines on WIN News Canberra! 🐎

We are incredibly proud to see our Silverdale Academy Schools Industry Careers Program featured on WIN News Canberra, showcasing the exciting opportunities available to the next generation of thoroughbred industry professionals!

Last Friday, over 30 students from Years 9–12 had the opportunity to step behind the scenes at Thoroughbred Park Canberra and Mane Lodge, discovering the incredible diversity of careers across thoroughbred breeding, racing and equine care.

From the breeding farm to the racetrack, students gained firsthand insights from industry professionals, opening their eyes to career pathways many had never previously considered.

This is what Silverdale Academy is all about – connecting young people with industry, inspiring future careers and building the next generation of our thoroughbred workforce.

A special thank you to Canberra Racing Club, Thoroughbred Park, Mane Lodge and the NSW Department of Education's Regional Industry Education Partnerships (RIEP) program and AgriFutures for helping bring this valuable initiative to life.

👏 Thank you to WIN News Canberra for shining a spotlight on the importance of industry education and creating opportunities for young Australians.

Go you good thing!!!

True Rebel, what a special one. A dominant performance in the Group 2 Drummond Golf Vase, 2040m. At just his 4th race start!

Bred at Silverdale by the awesome foursome in Steve, Eliza, Kenny and Maree!

By Rebel Dane, who gave this same group many happy times on the track.

Congratulations to the connections, including astute judge and conditioner Danny O’Brien who selected True Rebel from our 2025 Magic Millions Draft… could we see him in a VRC Derby next weekend?! 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Great to see The Wildling get the win in smart fashion at Scone this afternoon. This beautiful daughter of Wild Ruler was up and about early making her debut start in the Gimcrack stakes at 2.

Fantastic to see her get the win for our great mates and repeat purchasers at Tricolours Racing - we have no doubt she’ll be in the winners circle again!

Bred with our great mates Ken and Maree Lowe and Laurel Oak Bloodstock.

Great to welcome Dan and Danelle Pearce of Pearce Racing to Silverdale to see where it all began for their lovely I Am Invincible filly, Cos I Am.

A two-time winner at two, she’s already given her connections plenty to be excited about and we can’t wait to see what she can do with her return as a 3YO.

Always special having connections back at the farm and sharing the beginning of the journey. 🏇

AUTUMN GLOW DOES IT AGAIN. 👑✨

Another Group 1. Another dominant performance.

Autumn Glow has taken out the King Charles III Stakes at Randwick. Ever the professional, she just makes it look easy.

The Silverdale graduate continues to build an extraordinary record and further cement her place among the very best horses in the country.

Big congratulations to the Messara family of Arrowfield Stud and Hermitage Thoroughbreds, Chris Waller and his team, and James Mcdonald on another brilliant result.

What a mare. 💛
