School project… but make it Silverdale 🐎📚✨

Edie mapped out the full life cycle of horse using Silverdale born & bred Eneeza — from early scans, to foal on the ground, through to racetrack success and a $1.1M sale… and now returning home to Silverdale as a broodmare with her first foal due this spring!

Not a bad case study 👏 Safe to say the future of Silverdale is in very good hands 💙

The Autumn edition of the -academy Equine Internship Program wrapped up on Friday at , led by the Southern Highlands’ very own ‘horse whisperer’, Greg Bennett 🐴

In their final week of the six-week program, students put their 🧑‍💻theory into practice through hands-on training, practical assessments, and real-world experience around horses.

Throughout the Program, interns have developed skills in:
✔️Horse handling & safety
✔️Grooming & daily care
✔️Confidence working around horses
✔️Communication & teamwork
✔️Exploring career pathways within the industry

A huge thank you to all facilitators involved for sharing their knowledge, experience, and passion with the next generation! We can’t wait to see where this Program leads these students in their career choices👌
