A common saying on our farm is “stay safe” and I often remind others “there is no edit undo button” and the importance of minimising risk. This isn’t to say my family are not accident prone, in fact I have a large, well equipped and regularly visited first aid cupboard, especially with 3 daughters now independently exploring the farm more and more!! With all that said, we couldn’t be prouder of Miss Paige who gets her farm safety artwork published in next years WH&S calendar 🤩

Today for mother's day I was lucky to be surrounded by my amazing kids working on the farm from sunrise until sunset, pregnancy testing prior to our next round of AI and confirming which maidens "make weight" to become first time mothers themselves! I love that our kids get to learn what a hard days work is, and proud that they are right there beside us every step of the way. Hands down one of the most important things we can teach our kids these days. Special thanks to my own mother also, who kept us well fed all day!!

Our LegaSea cattle buffet trailer gets moved around the paddocks as we rotationally graze. This enables the cattle to help themselves to additional vitamins, nutrients and minerals as they feel like them. It’s low stress for us and low stress for the cattle. The organic powder in the bos bags helps reduce insect and parasite populations too! More info below in the comments.
