Paynes Orchards is one of the few genuine small family orchards left in Australia. Everything here is naturally grown - no bad chemicals or synthetic fertiliser. High nutrient content and flavour. It costs more to do it this way. We do it to offer an alternative. Cherries, berries, nectarines, plums, apricots and peaches available in Summer. A variety of apples available in Autumn. Only 40 mins from Melbourne, near the Western Fwy on the way to Ballarat.

These ladybirds are definitely friendly and ready to go to work. 🐞 but we’re not sure if they are better for controlling fungus or aphids.

I think these tiny yellow ones are better known for controlling fungus like powdery mildew or black mould. Eww 😎

We may have another day open if there is enough remaining.

We’ve been pulling out old cherry trees so there’s lots of cherry wood that we don’t normally have available. This is a rare opportunity to come and get a boot load for cheap.

You have to cut and load it yourself.
