What a fantastic night under the stars!!

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Julie and Geoff at Echo Bend Camping Park and David and Nerida from the Gippsland star party! As well as my staff, They are all the real stars! 💫 🔭

This was the second time Guac On has attended and it was great to see so many new faces and the growing of this magical event.

It was a surreal family friendly experience, learning a lot of Lingo, weather patterns and everyone was so warm and welcoming with the conditions being superb! ✨

Be sure to follow Gippsland Star Party for next years event!

Unfortunately this is the Last event for Guac On for the foreseeable future but we will be back one day! 🌮 🌯

Over the past little while, we’ve been working on something we're very excited about - Gippy Food Trucks - a local directory website designed to make it easier for people to find, connect with and book food trucks and other mobile vendors across Gippsland.

Before we officially launch, we’re looking for a small number of local vendors who’d be keen to jump on early, test the site, and share some feedback from a food truck owner’s point of view.

There’ll be a few thank-you perks for early testers, and it’s a chance to help shape how the platform works before it goes live to the public.

Once we’ve got some listings up, we’ll also be inviting event organisers and locals to test the site too, so it works well from both sides.

We had such an awesome time at Forest Rhythms in Orbost on Saturday night. The perfect weather, awesome music and a really relaxed, family friendly vibe in the park made for a really great time for all who came.

Huge thanks to Amber from ECHOS of the Wild East Event Production for her amazing efforts.

Taylor Sonier, Rach, Bonnie and Douggie, Flynn Gurry Clay McKerlie and Abrasiv churning out the tunes was a massive highlight.

We loved serving alongside Sailors Grave Brewing and Flat Bickie and a big thanks to Rotary International East Gippsland Shire Council Far East Victoria Landcare Inc, and Orbost Arts Centre for supporting the event and helping make it happen.

And as always, big love to our team for their hard work, and thank you to everyone who came along, grabbed a feed and made it such a good day.

Due to technical difficulties this gratitude post is a bit late!

Big thanks to Scott Bairnsdale Racing Club Inc. for the invitation and amazing day put on, it takes a lot to organise events like this but it’s great for the community!

Big thanks to the many people who braved the the weather, had a laugh and a joke and support my little trailer.

Lastly I want to thank the Guac on team, the hard work you do is greatly appreciated and make the work environment a fun space ❤️

Thanks Nowa Nowa for a great night at the Pop Up Pub!

Huge thanks to Olivia Lay Music, Ronaldo and Nowa Nowa Futures for putting on such a fun community event and inviting us along. It was our first time in Nowa Nowa and we loved it. What a beautiful spot with such friendly people.

Big shoutout to everyone who came along, grabbed a feed, had a chat and supported local. Nights like that remind us why we do what we do.

And as always, a massive thank you to our team for all their hard work and great vibes. You guys are the best, we couldn’t do it without you 💚

🍻 The Nowa Nowa Pop-Up Pub is on tonight! 🌮

If you’re looking for something fun to do tonight, head down to the Nowa Nowa Community Hall from 5–9pm. There’ll be live music from and the Mama Dee Trio, kids’ activities, great company and plenty of good food for everyone.

It’s family-friendly and a really good chance to catch up with the community and unwind before the weekend.

Well… that was an unexpected start to the week.
My work ute is currently out of action after an unfortunate run-in with a tree — thanks to a deer deciding to make a sudden appearance on the road.

Very grateful that no one was hurt, and a big shoutout to GP Motors for their super quick response and help. 🙏

Fingers crossed it’s nothing too major, but it looks like I might need to sell a few extra tacos at this Friday’s event in Nowa Nowa to help cover the damage! 🌮💸

If anyone’s got recommendations on good utes for towing (or ones to avoid), I’m all ears — might be time to start looking around just in case.
