Creating this spa-themed cake for Indi’s 8th birthday was so much fun. Complete with a face mask, cucumber slices, nail polish and bubbles, it was every little spa lover’s dream πŸ’•

Thank you for trusting me to create such a special centrepiece for the celebration, and for your lovely feedback.

One of my favourites from this week. πŸŽ€

I love creating these vintage-inspired designs. There’s something so nice about bringing a client’s vision to life and hearing that it’s exactly what they imagined.

This sweet pink beauty was such a pleasure to create, with all the delicate piping, bows and floral details.

A little wedding cake with a lot of heart. 🀍

Rustic buttercream, fresh florals supplied by the bride, and simple details that let the flowers do the talking.

Sometimes the most beautiful cakes are the ones that keep things understated.

Wishing the newlyweds all the happiness in the world.

Some of the most beautiful cake colours are also the most challenging to create.

Deep shades like this take patience, layer upon layer of colour, and a lot of tweaking to get just right.

Sometimes I spend longer mixing the buttercream than I do icing the cake itself, but seeing it all come together makes it so worthwhile. πŸ’œ
