A four-course Yum Cha lunch matched to eight Shaw + Smith wines, including our winery exclusive 2025 .

Since the beginning of their Shaw + Smith journey, founders Martin Shaw and Michael Hill-Smith MW have invited trade and industry to to taste the new releases each year. Now we’re sharing that experience with our customers, with sell-out events in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney so far. In Adelaide, next-generation family members Ella Shaw and Mathilda Hill-Smith will host.

This Father’s Day weekend, we’re pouring some special bottles that have been carefully selected from our maturation museum - 2006 Shaw + Smith Shiraz and 2016 Balhannah Vineyard Shiraz. This is a rare opportunity to taste wines of these vintages alongside current release.

It’s been over 20 years since we released a new variety. So, why Gamay?

Tucked behind our Balhannah Vineyard is a cool, south-facing slope with ironstone rich, free draining soils - made for slow ripening and bright, expressive fruit. Gamay felt like the natural fit.
