Quick stop into Vienna, enjoyed a walk around the city at a stop at a Viennese coffee house. Yes I had their signature cocktail in the warmth which was a mix of wine, soda, candied violets and a syrup. Quite refreshing.

And the cakes!!! 🍰 Viennese pancakes, sachet torte and raspberry and yoghurt cake.

Next stop ✈️ London.

Who would have thought I would find the best coffee and some amazing food in Slovakia! 🇸🇰

We have been ‘suffering’ through what I call average coffee- self confessed coffee snob here.

Anyway yesterday we drove to get some supplies at a supermarket and found Sora coffee. Just amazing and a delicious cake too.

Then for dinner, there it literally just a few restaurant where we are staying, and I had this amazing trout dish.

All so good and loved the inspected finds while travelling.

It’s a heat wave here today for Alistair’s bike race today. I think I am on ice duties.

But if you are considering a new TM7 for the first time, the 2nd bowl offer is amazing. Paint with extended warranty and I think this is the best offer we have had.

Both the bowl and extended warranty are to be added at cart.

Hello there.

I am about to take a short break from thermo food inspo.

Tomorrow I am travelling to see one of my boys who has been away in Europe cycling. We will be watching some races and be eating some delicious food, I hope!!!

We will be travelling across Germany, Austria, Slovakia and then onto London for the royal Henly regatta where my eldest is rowing.

Can you tell I have lots of food over the years!!!

Stay tuned for lots of stories- there will be cycling 🚴‍♀️, scenery, food and rowing 🚣

Have you ever considered making gyoza dumpling soup in your thermomix??

Neither had I.

In my effort to meal plan this week, I selected this recipe. Make life easy for yourself and buy some dumplings to have on hand in the freezer.

This was so good, I am adding this recipe to my favourites!

TIP: check cook time of the dumplings/gyoza and adjust cook time accordingly.

I used a 500g packet of dumplings and this fed 3 of us with leftovers!
