Still one of the coolest things I’ve bought for cooking, so versatile and just an awesome bit of kit.
Probly the only thing I’ve ever bought where it matched the hype around it.

How have I never heard of this joint until now.. 🤯
Now I love a pie, and usually try to get one everywhere I go.. unpopular opinion but the truth is NZ has the absolute best pies and it’s not even close!
One thing the kiwis do is the classic mince & cheese which is the staple pie over there, we just don’t do which sucks because it’s just a cracking pie!
Enter Bacchus Marsh Bakery Cafe & Takeaway - Holy-hecka! This is a Kosmos inspired mince and double cheese and it was absolutely amazing! Flakey top, pillow bottom, perfect ratios and heaps of proper melty cheese.
No sauce required!
Everything in the joint looked awesome I can’t wait to try a few more pies and whatever else they got goin on… Goin to be hard to drive straight to Melbourne without a detour from now on!

That’s it for this year!
Quiet year this year with only about 500kgs of brisket done, was a bit 2 busy with real work and 2 little kids so found it hard to fit everyone in.
