A little piece of heaven
Glenleigh Country Farm was built over a period of years from 2007 through to 2012. It is a large house built in three distinct wings that sits atop a hill overlooking the Yarrowee River Valley (sometimes called the Leigh River). The home boasts uninterrupted 180+ degree sweeping views of the valley from Mt Buninyong in the north to Mt Mercer in the south. From the various viewpoints around the house it is possible at night to view the city lights of Ballarat and the glow of the city lights from Melbourne and Geelong. This doesn’t, however, detract from your ability to view the stars of the Milky Way on a moonless night. Glenleigh is home to about 40 goats, six sheep, cats, dogs and an ancient old pony.
