This was my view last night as I delivered my last package of bars.

It was a beautiful celebration 🥹🥰🤩

Yesterday was a big one.

I dropped Michael at his best man Martin's house in the morning for Martin to drive him to Meredith (he's truly the best man) so that I could drive to Melbourne and deliver the rest of my bars to Cheaper Buy Miles.

I then drove back to Ballarat and packed the car for Meredith and did all the 'going away for a week' stuff like clean out the fridge, empty the compost, water the plants, make sure the animals have heaps and food and water etc.

Groceries, petrol, one final delivery and took Tycho to Michael's parents (please be good!) and then drove out to Meredith to meet up with Michael and get our cabin set up (at 10:30pm!)

It's not great that I'm starting festival week this sore and tired 😅

Looking forward to having a proper rest over Christmas/New Years!

I've marked the bars out of stock but have decided to leave the tote bags, tea towels and Tshirts up until Christmas so you can grab some as presents.

Thanks for the last few weeks, I've loved sending out so many final orders.

Tomorrow night I head away to work at Meredith Music Festival for a week so I will be packing up the final orders and sending them off before I go.

I'd hate for you to miss out so get your final order in today.

My closing down sale is still on, so bars are only $3 each and tote bags are $25.

The bars can be stored in the fridge or freezer to last even longer, and tote bags of course last forever 🤩✨

It's still all very surreal and hasn't sunk in that We Bar None is actually closing.. thanks so much for all the words and messages of support over the last couple of weeks.

I feel so loved and supported and proud.

I need your help!

I'm still running into people that didn't see my announcement that I'm closing We Bar None.

Meta's algorithm is so messed up now, I don't know about you but 90% of my feed is pages I don't follow and topics I'm not even interested in??

I'm worried that some people won't know I've closed until it's too late 😭

There's only a couple of days left to stock up on bars and buy some merch.

Please tag friends that you think would be interested, or even just liking this post and commenting all helps with the algorithm.

I don't usually post "like, comment, share" but I hate the idea of disappointing anyone.

I had the most wonderful afternoon today, celebrating 10 years of We Bar None surrounded by my people.

Family, friends, regulars, stockists and fellow business owners, most blurring the lines between at least 2 categories 😆

I feel so blessed to have had the support of such amazing people.

There were a few who couldn't make it, a few who live too far away, a few that didn't see the invite because Gmail decided it was spam 🙃

There's too many people to name or thank.

10 years of amazing people.

Being a sole trader is a weird thing.
On one hand you're alone, and you shoulder all of the responsibilities by yourself.

On the other hand, it makes all of the people around you.. your customers, stockists, fellow business owners.. even more important.

I couldn't have done it without you 🥰💕

Deciding to close We Bar None was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, and announcing it was even harder.

Your words of support and encouragement have been filling my heart.

Thanks to those who have already jumped on the website and ordered from my closing down sale, I'm so happy I can send you all a final package of goodness 💖

I managed to get the first lot of orders packed up today (with help from Tycho of course) and will send them off tomorrow, but tomorrow evening I will be in Melbourne delivering a speech in Parliament (!!) and celebrating the end of my Pathways to Politics program.

This may mean some orders don't get sent off until Monday.

I'll be at the Ballarat Farmers Market on Saturday at Zoo Drive so please come and see me there if you can.

Everything will be discounted and I have a small amount of merch and compost sprays etc - I have like 3 compost bins left so get in quick if you've been eyeing them off!!

Quite a few of you have emailed asking where your sample packs are lately 😞

It seems that Australia Post is delivering slower than usual, please rest assured that no one has actually had their order go missing!

They've all arrived eventually, but some are taking up to a couple of weeks 😭

I send your sample packs as "large letters" to keep the cost down, so they get sent separately from parcels and don't come with tracking.

This info is in the product description and it doesn't usually make much difference but it seems that when things get busy, letters get slower where parcels don't.

Everyone has been super understanding so thank you!

Just be aware that if you order a sample pack it may take a little longer than the other packs 💚
