Weaning and most of the preg testing are wrapped up, and the crew has moved straight on to semen testing and fat scanning the bulls.

It’s been an outstanding season all round, and the results are showing up where it counts. Our Brahman stud cows have continued to deliver solid results with 88.5% wet cow preg rate on a 100-day join this includes 1st calf heifers.

Hard work, good genetics, and a kind season — can’t ask for more than that. Thanks to Pete and Lachy for all their hard work this last month!🌿

The lead of our Brahman draft goes to auction at one of Queensland's premier Brahman genetics events. Grass-raised, data-backed, and selected for the traits that matter — fertility, function, and genetic merit.

📍 PRIVATE TREATY — From Tarramba, Banana CQ
Brahman and Brangus bulls and females available by private treaty directly from the paddock. Semen testing complete by June, bulls available for inspection by appointment.

2026 Tarramba Brangus Bulls —Available from June, Located Banana CQ.

We have 24 Brangus bulls ready to go to work this year.

Semen testing is underway in May, with bulls available for inspection by appointment from June onwards.
These bulls come from dams that were yearling calvers — out of good, moderate cows selected for a balance of fertility and growth. Nothing extreme, just cattle that work. Their dams recorded a 92% pregnancy rate last year on a 3-month join, program driven genetics with a fertility focus.

All 24 bulls have a full suite of BreedPlan EBVs recorded:
✅ 200, 400 & 600 Day Weights
✅ Scrotal Size (measured at 400 days)
