At Izway wines, our task is to gently guide our wines to bottle so they are an accurate reflection of both the site on which they were grown and the prevailing conditions throughout the growing season. Our job is made easier through access to the amazing old-vines and abundant sunshine that makes the Barossa Valley so famous across the globe. Wines of purity, energy and vitality that speak clearly of the region we call home.

I love travelling the dusty, isolated roads of the Northern Barossa in the build up to harvest. The landscape is vast and expansive, with uninterrupted views of iconic Australian country. It’s easy to be thankful to live where we do.

Dramatic, stormy day in the Barossa for the release of the new vintages of Bruce, Harold and Don. This is a time when I appreciate what a privilege it is to make wine from these special vineyards, that have been meticulously cared for over multiple generations by the same families. Our cellar door is now open every day until the end of April, and we hope to see many of you for a chat and a sip soon.

That time of the year again when the new season begins and the fresh shoots need to be protected from the elements. Even though it is a gorgeous evening in the Barossa, there is a chance of frost tomorrow morning, so we do what we can, even if it looks a bit silly 😁

Dad and I used to drink Sami Odi every Father’s Day. Things don’t get as loose now that he is no longer here, but I do my best to uphold our tradition 😁

Three Brian’s Grenache, Maurice Grenache, Field Blend GSM and Angelo Aglianico.
Opening hours are 11am-4pm Thursday to Monday.

Introducing the newest team members at Izway… Liza, Louise, Sarah & Tegan the chooks! ( fans might understand)

We have had some problems with weevils in the Young Grenache the last couple of seasons so we have sent in the girls to sort it out. They have settled in nicely and have quickly worked out how to jump the fence and head into the winery. It has been said that Liam and I also scratch around like old chooks…

An organic solution to a pest problem and plenty of eggs… 👌
