A deck has been built around the magnificent Marri tree which will offer a relaxing place to sit and enjoy a pizza and a beer or glass of wine while taking in the spectacular view over the vineyard. The Vineyard Spa Cottage at Upper Reach offers an opportunity to rest, relax and recharge. The original workers cottage built in 1907 has been refurbished to include everything you need. After a day of exploring the Valley, retreat back to your cottage surrounded by your very own 20 acre vineyard. Upper Reach is one of the top Swan Valley wine producers, with an extensive list of wine show awards. Their success is a result of winemakers Derek and Lauren Pileggi's hands-on involvement, both in the vineyard and in the winery. In 2022 Upper Reach were awarded two trophies at the Swan Valley Wine Show - 'Best Wine of Show' and 'Best Red Wine' - for their 2021 Reserve Shiraz. At the 2023 Swan Valley Wine Show, they were awarded three trophies and a Gold medal for their 2022 Grenache. This included the coveted Alan Dinneen Memorial trophy which is awarded to a wine selected by the chief judge that best identifies with the Swan Valley and shows imagination, innovation and ingenuity.
