What is an 'end-assembly' in rural fencing?

30/09/2026

Another job completed by Goodlet Rural: a Westonfence exclusion fence built to help protect this property.

Exclusion fences are designed to keep out unwanted wildlife such as foxes, wild dogs, feral pigs, feral goats, kangaroos and even feral deer. Whilst keeping your livestock in where they should be.

This system is electrified and solar-powered, with a battery bank to keep it running. Tim walks through how it works and checks the voltage along the fence line.

How can you tell if a fence is worth repairing?

We just completed this electric Westonfence exclusion fence out at Duckmaloi near Oberon.

Exclusion fencing keeps the unwanted wildlife out such as pigs, dogs, goats, kangaroos and deer and keeps your livestock where they belong.

One storm. A fallen tree. Fence line no longer doing its job.

Recent storm damage brought this tree down across a fence near Canobolas, outside Orange.

We cut back and cleared the fallen timber, repaired the damaged section and reinstated the fence line so the property was secure again.

Storm damage rarely leaves a neat job behind. We assess what has failed, work with what can be retained and rebuild what is needed properly.

If recent weather has damaged fencing on your property, get in touch or visit goodletrural.com to see how we can help.

WE WON.

We’re incredibly proud to share that Goodlet Rural was been named the 2026 Winner of Excellence in Customer Service – Agribusiness at the Carillon Bathurst Business Awards last night.

Customer service has always been at the heart of how we run Goodlet Rural.

Turning up when we say we will. Communicating clearly. Doing the job properly. Respecting our customers, their properties and their time. And being someone they know they can rely on.

To have that recognised with this award means a great deal.

But Goodlet Rural isn't one person.

This wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated team behind the business. Our people who turn up, put in the hard work and share the same commitment to doing a job well. We’re incredibly grateful for every one of them.

And most importantly, thank you to our customers.

Thank you for trusting us with your properties, for coming back to us, for recommending Goodlet Rural to others and for supporting a local business. We genuinely wouldn’t be here without you.

We were also incredibly proud to be a finalist for Excellence in Micro Business, alongside some outstanding Bathurst businesses.

It was a brilliant night celebrating the people and businesses that make our region what it is, and we’re very proud to bring this one home.
