Position available for:
🐠 Casual Delicatessen Sales Assistant
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Display a high level of customer service with greeting customers and helping them find what they need.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process cash and EFTPOS transactions.
- Maintain clean, organised product displays.
- Rotation and restock of product.
- Maintain high standard of quality control.
- Picking and packing of customer orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of workspace and display areas.
- Maintain a high level of food safety and hygiene.
- Provide product knowledge to customers.
- Daily set-up and pack down.
- Food preparation for our cafe (baking, salads, wraps, juice/smoothies, etc).
- Making and serving hot and cold drinks.
- Preparation and serving of hot and cold food.
Successful applicants will have:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Reliability
- Ability to maintain a fast and efficient work pace
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Barista Certification
Training will be provided. Previous experience in a similar role is strongly preferred and will be prioritised for this position.
💵 Pay Rate: Per industry award
⏰ Hours: Part-time, requiring availability for shifts during hours of 7am - 6:30pm and Saturdays.
