Fosterfield Fine Wools 24th Annual On-Farm Ram Sale - A great result - and a big thank you to everyone who attended our 24th annual on-farm ram sale on Sunday.

We were pleased to sell 34 of the 44 Merino rams offered, achieving a top price of $2,600 and an average of $1,355.

🏆 Top Price Ram - $2,600 (Lot 2) An 18-month-old poll Merino ram by a Roseville Park sire - this was also our charity fundraising ram. The remaining rams were purchased by a great mix of new and returning clients from across the local district.

the Lot 2, charity ram raises $2,600 in sale proceeds that will be donated to Australian prostate and breast cancer research. This brings the total raised through our charity ram initiative over the past five years to $7,000.

We sincerely thank everyone who has supported our sale and this worthwhile cause.

We were delighted with the result and encouraged by the strong attendance, along with a healthy mix of loyal repeat clients and new buyers. Fosterfield continues to focus on producing practical, paddock-reared rams for local sheep producers, and it was great to see confidence returning to the industry, supported by stronger sheep, lamb and wool prices. While there is some caution around seasonal conditions, the overall sentiment on the day was very positive.

Thank you to all buyers, underbidders for you support at the sale.
