🎬 Alfies food van is ready to begin operating from the Mt St Gwinear car park for the winter season on Saturday 6th June.
⏰ Food van opening days & hours over winter are Friday’s, Saturday’s, Sunday’s, some Monday’s, Public Holidays and throughout School Holidays from 8 AM - 4:30 PM.
❄️🛞⛓️ Snow wheel chains are required to be carried for all vehicles and fitted when directed during the declared snow season at Mt St Gwinear commencing on Kings Birthday Long Weekend (6 June – 4 October 2026).
🅿️ Mt St Gwinear car park is a basic visitor site that includes toilets, change rooms and a heated shelter room in winter.
Visitors are encouraging to be self-sufficient.
🌿 Parks Victoria office will be open most days throughout winter for Visitor Management if closed officers will be conducting patrols & duties within the area.
⛑️ St Gwinear Ski Patrol is a dedicated voluntary team that operate out of the Ski Patrol base to the right hand side of the Parks Victoria office on weekends over winter.
Their team provide medical, rescue and hazard prevention services throughout Mt St Gwinear and the Baw Baw plateau.
