Cardinia has a new Food and Agribusiness Committee!!!
The new Committee came together tonight and we're now underway.
Made up of volunteers drawn from across the Shire, we have a great wealth of people with a range of skills and lived experience in farming now forming one of Council's key advisory Committees.
A pretty significant milestone, considering more than 80% of the Shire is rural - and a large % of that is farmland.
Thanks to everyone who submitted an EOI to join the Committee - this is community in action.

Our last farm gate, for fresh organic blueberries this season will be open Sunday and Monday this Australia Day weekend. 9-5 both days so drop in grab delicious blueberries.
