It’s officially time wasting season again where we’d rather spend time in the foal paddocks than be doing the day to day chores. There is something special about a foal trusting humans and wanting to be with us.

This little cutie Molly is out of one of our awesome ASH Star Black Minstril lines mares by Royalle Black N Blue. She didn’t get the memo about being roan so she will be for sale on a payment plan until weaning. She is only 2 days old in this photo so once she has unfolded, we’ll get some more photos so you can see how well put together she is. At Kissimmee Performance Horses, all our young stock are sold well handed and respectful with all the foundation work done so they are set up for life wherever they go.

When she has the whole freshly poo picked paddock (and a stable full of fresh woodshavings) to lay in, Kissimmee Tiffany (by Royalle In the Red, out of Hollywood Athome) chooses her mothers hay to sleep on. Tiffany is only 5 days old in these photos and her Mum is already giving us WTF looks 😂 Hang in there Mumma because if your foal is anything like her brother Kissimmee Texas, it’s going to be a long 6 months of mischief coming your way.

When our broodmares look this good 2 days after foaling, we know we have their nutrition right. Mares that are healthy on the inside look this great on the outside but more importantly, they provide their foal with quality colostrum and milk. This is vital in setting foals up to grow up to be healthy. When you purchase a weanling, yearling or young horse from Kissimmee Performance Horses, you can be assured it has had the best start in life, from nutrition to training.

At Kissimmee Performance Horses, we breed quality Australian Stock Horses and Quarter Horses. The cold hard reality is when we take into account the money it costs us to breed, raise and train one of our horses, we don’t make money when we sell them. We do it because we are passionate about horses and the joy they bring to our lives. That is why it is so important to us that our home bred horses are sold to good homes. We try and stay in touch with the new owners and follow the progress of any horse that we sell. We love getting updates like this one below from Belinda about her ASH gelding Kissimmee Neptune (Bob) that she has had for 12 months and took to his first jumping event.

“He was amazing. First rider on course and he wasn’t bothered by the competition environment, and no knocks or stops. We came 3rd in the 15 & over group. So proud of my boy.”

If you want a horse that is competitive and has the temperament to take it all in their stride, please message us to see what we have available.

How cool is this stallion? Moore Marz Bar loves barrels and placed 10th out of 540 entries in the average at the ABHA Finals 2026. This handsome boy has a pedigree packed with World Champions of the track and cutting. Apart from his natural talent (he is equally at home chasing cows as he is running barrels), we chose to breed with. him because of his temperament. He is so easygoing. We are patiently waiting on a foal by him due next month so make sure you like our page to be amongst the first to see our foals when they are born.

The first foal of the season at Kissimmee Performance Horses and it is a beautiful blingy bay filly we foaled down on behalf of one our awesome clients, Cailin. The stunning Cat N A Hat AQHA maiden mare had a textbook labour and birth at 1.47am this morning. With the sire being palomino stallion Hardmoonarising, the owner was hoping for a palomino filly with bling but two out of 3 ain’t bad and Cailin is already smitten with this filly, as are we. Not only is she beautiful to look at, she has the same sweet temperament as her Mum Coco and she is so smart. We were honoured to play a small part in bringing this little girl safely into the world and we look forward to seeing her become the superstar we already know she is going to be. Congratulations Cailin!

If you want to take the stress out of foaling your mare down, we have years of experience and take care of your mares as if they are our own to give you peace of mind they are getting the best care. We also offer breeding services where we take your mare in, get all her scans done here in our vet crush set up for breeding, organise the AI and ovulation check and have her scanned for pregnancy 14 days later. If you are interested in either of these services, please contact us at Kissimmee Performance Horses.

Another foal we are looking forward to meeting over the next few weeks is out of our Star Black Minstril/Realm of Fire lines ASH mare by the very handsome stallion Royalle Black N Blue. Guess what colour we are hoping for? Based on last year’s foals we are likely to get the 3.13% chance of a chestnut 😂

At Kissimmee Performance Horses we work really hard to make sure our horses go to the right home. We encourage buyers to come here to view, handle/ride any horse we have for sale so we can see if you are a good match for the horse. We then stay in touch with owners so we can follow the growth and progress of horses, especially those we have bred.

This message below is one we got over the weekend from a beautiful lady who purchased a green broken gelding from us last year. Belinda has taken our boy Bob to new heights in her chosen disciplines and we are so grateful.

“One year anniversary with my special boy. Best decision I ever made. Love him to pieces. Thank you xx”
