Outside mare Lilly (QH) foaled a beautiful solid palomino filly by Surrey Springs Kalahari (GC) on the 15/11/25, her 10th birthday! Very special for her owner who also bred Lilly.
‘Poppy’ also needed plasma as her antibody (IgG) test was also low.
But she’s been flying since, she’s a firecracker!

Our first pregnancy of the season is our foundation Warlander broodmare Shepherds Hill Stella (Tao x Miss Libby) who is in foal to our homebred buckskin warmblood Hyde Park Visions of Gold (Qaside MD x Equine Affair Smoking Violet (EA Midnight)). This will be Vision's only foal as he will be gelded soon and started. Stella has produced 3 fantastic gypsy crosses for us so far so I'm excited to see what these two produce. Should be a good jumper!

It has been a crazy couple of months here! Lots of posts incoming when I find the time.

Buckskin c**t 1/11/26

Primrose didn’t eat much in her last two months of pregnancy, getting worse as she got closer to foaling and went into her own yard, stressing and pacing, stressing me! She ran milk for 3 weeks then foaled at 12pm the 1/11 while I was in the middle of pony club, an hour away. Thankfully she set the alarm off and Stephen was home as assistance was needed, he rang my mum who has a tiny amount of foaling experience and with me on the phone they managed to eventually pull him out.

He was very contracted, I flew home and spent the next few hours trying to get him up to drink, always a beautiful moment when they finally have a solid drink. The rest of the day consisted of lifting him up every couple hours to drink until he started managing himself around midnight. Prim is a perfect mum, she was very willing for us to do all sorts to her new baby but is very aware and protective of him towards everything else.
The next morning we went to the vets for an assessment and antibody test. He was bandaged up and unsurprisingly failed his test so received plasma that afternoon.
After 2 1/2 weeks of daily bandage changes on a crocodile toddler, his legs were finally cleared of bandaging!
He hasn’t looked back, showing off his paces and dressage moves since.
Very grateful for our wonderful vets and everyone else who helped wrestle him.

Our ram lams for this year, all looking for homes as weathers or rams.

We have had quite the range of colours this year, we cut our herd down to a third, keeping sentimental and colour producing ewes and its paying off! The s*x odds haven't been in our favour as much and we aren't keeping any boys so all 6 rams/weathers are availab1e.

Our second foal for the season followed 18 hours later, despite Buttons being waxed and dripping well before violet.
